Heart's Delight Wine Tasting Event Successful
The Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA) and Public Health Student Association (PHSA) extend their thanks to the more than 50 SPHHS students and alumni who attended the February 27th Heart's Delight wine tasting event in honor of National Heart Health Month. Dean Katz and Dean Hunting also participated, adding, "It was the best networking happy hour that [the PHAA] has held so far." The event also raised money for the Capital Connection Fund, which provides financial assistance for public health students to take advantage of off-campus research, internships, conferences and other professional development activities. For more information on the Capital Connection Fund and how to support, please go here.

Epi/Bio Alumni Lunch with Dean and Chair April 9
Dean Katz and Dr. Alan Greenberg would like to invite Epi/Bio alumni to have lunch at the School on Wednesday, April 9! This lunch will be the first in a series of Dean's lunches that will feature each department throughout SPHHS. It is a great way for alumni to catch up on what's happening in the school and the department, and to network with other alumni. Space is first come, first serve and limited to ten alumni. To reserve your spot today, please email alumni@gwumc.edu!

Call for Board Members
The Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA) needs a few good volunteers! PHAA is calling for nominations for open positions on the PHAA Board of Directors. Available positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and several Member-at-Large positions. Elections for the positions will be on May 28, at the PHAA's Annual meeting.
