COLONIALS IN ARGENTINA
The GW Argentina Alumni Network (GWAAN) was born in July 2009 and it has been working hard to reconnect with the close to 60 GW alumni in Argentina. In less than 3 months of life, GWAAN has already convened a Steering Committee, created a web presence in Facebook and Twitter, held an inauguration happy hour, welcomed a dozen GW students doing a semester abroad in Buenos Aires, and worked closely with three GW alumni moving to Argentina before the end of the year.
In order to close 2009 with a bang, GWAAN is participating in a grand event involving Argentina-based chapters of over 60 international universities at the end of November.
