Women and Philanthropy
Dear alumni and friends,
GW's first annual Women and Philanthropy Forum: Women Making the Difference, was held on April 2, 2009. It was a great success, bringing together women of diverse ages and backgrounds, and we were delighted to have so many in attendance.
As we begin plans for next year's forum, which will take place in April 28, 2010, we are looking forward to another afternoon filled with engaging speakers and quality networking opportunities. We are also delighted that Lydia Thomas, Vice Chair of the GW Board of Trustees, is chairing a host committee for this year's event.
Please plan to join the entire GW community, including faculty and staff, parents, friends, and alumni at this event that is designed to stimulate your thoughts and ideas on the topic of women's philanthropy. We look forward to seeing you and please check back for further details about the day's agenda and list of speakers.
