Thank
you for your interest in working with students. Many GW
alumni have had enjoyable and rewarding experiences connecting
with current students. As alumni, we have a lot to offer
students: internships and jobs in our companies, advice
and mentoring about how to thrive at GW or in life after
GW and, most importantly, connections and friendship.
The Office of Alumni Relations and the George Washington
Alumni Association offers many programs throughout the
year to bring alumni back to campus to interact with students.
If you are interested in working with students, please
e-mail Raina Lenney, Director of Alumni Programming, at
raina@gwu.edu. We hope
you'll enjoy volunteering your time with some of the following
programs:
Connect with students before they attend their
first Funger Hall lecture!
-
Hundreds of dedicated alumni across the country participate in our Alumni and Parent Admissions Program each year. The program, run through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, enables alumni to interview prospective students, attend college fairs at their local high school, and participate in Summer Connection events for incoming students. To find out more about the Alumni and Parents Admissions Program, and to fill out a volunteer application form, please visit the program website. Questions? Please contact Michael Steelman, Associate Director of Alumni Volunteer Programs, at steelman@gwu.edu.
