Become a Class Reunion Volunteer

Alumni & Families Weekend 2024 is Friday, October 18 - Sunday, October 20, and each reunion class needs need a minimum of 8 reunion volunteers who will start planning their reunion in earnest in April. Reunion volunteers will:

  • Reach out to classmates to invite them back to campus for our reunion
  • Help plan the details for our reunion party, which would be held on Saturday, October 19, as well as any other class-specific activities we’d like to add to the weekend
  • Stay engaged from April to October via monthly virtual check-in meetings with the committee 
  • Make a gift – of any size to any designation – to GW in honor of our reunion
  • Attend your class reunion during AFW and have a blast reconnecting!

Work on a committee to plan events in your region.
Work on a committee to plan events for your network. Current networks include: Asian and Pacific Islander Alumni Network, Black Alumni Association, Latino Alumni Network, and LGBTQ+ Alumni Network.
Plan and advise industry network programming. Current networks include: Finance, Healthcare, Marketing & Advertising, Media & Communications, Politics & Government, Real Estate, Retail & Fashion, and Technology.
(March and April only). Giving Day Advocates connect with GW community members and share social media content and information with their GW networks to increase philanthropic engagement on Giving Day.
Social Media Ambassadors (called the “Buff and Blue Crew”) share GW news with their network via the platforms of their choice (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). You simply receive content via email, and post!
