Where did you grow up, and how has your background influenced you today?

I spent the first seven years of my career in Management Consulting at PwC, KPMG, and Accenture in New York City. I loved my client relationships, but I learned I was better suited for a pure sales role. I ended up applying to a startup in Boston, and that's how I got started.

Tell us about your current professional role and why it excites you (if you can share a topic you're particularly excited about, we'd love to hear it).

I love software sales because my job is to help organizations transform and modernize via technology. While it's certainly different from politics, at the end of the day, you are still helping people.

What accomplishment are you most proud of personally or professionally, and why?

I am most proud of the connections that I made during my internships. Many of those friends made it into the State Dept, the FBI, the White House, etc.

What is your only-at-GW moment? In other words, what is an experience/opportunity you believe GW provided you access to?

Interning for George W Bush's speechwriter, David Frum. He coined the phrase "axis of evil."

What is a fun fact about yourself that you'd like to share?

I was cited multiple times by Ben Smith at Politico for blog posts that I wrote during college.

What is a piece of advice you would offer to students seeking to pursue your field of work?

Be flexible, as you never know where you will end up: business, finance, technology, academia, etc.

How do you give back to the GW community?

I have been an Alumni Ambassador and a Thrive Guide.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with the GW community?

GW is special and a wonderful place to attend college. The opportunities outside the classroom are second to none.
