Ways to make personal connections with GW alumni
Attend a Summer-Sendoff
First-year students and their families are invited to join us at one of our Summer Send-Offs. Graciously hosted by alumni and parents in cities around the globe, GW Summer Send-Offs provide new students and their families the opportunity to meet various members of the GW community, including other first-year students, parents, alumni, and administrators.
Attend a Dinner with Alumni or Coffee with Colonials
Always wanted to connect with experienced GW alumni? Haven’t selected a leadership position on campus, your major or career path yet? This is your opportunity to share a meal or coffee with GW alumni and fellow students! Dinners and Coffees will be posted in GW HandShake and students will have an opportunity to apply. Spaces for both are very limited and signing up does not confirm your dinner or coffee placement. Please contact the Associate Director of Student Alumni Programs with any questions.
Participate in GW Career Connect
Participate in GW Career Connect, an online networking community brought to you by the Center for Career Services to seek career guidance and professional development from alumni.
Join the GW Alumni Association's LinkedIn Group
By joining the GW Alumni Association’s LinkedIn group, you’ll have the chance to network and exchange career advice with more than 35,000 Colonials from 40+ countries to further your professional connections.
Host an Alumnus/a at Your Student Organization Event
The Office of Alumni Relations continues to connect current student organizations with alumni to enrich the GW experience. Student organizations planning educational, social, or fundraising events are encouraged to complete this form.
Give to your Senior Class Gift
The Senior Class Gift Campaign makes a profound impact on every area of campus. No matter your major or extracurricular activities, your time at GW was made better by previous seniors' gifts.
Attend Senior Send-Off
Come to the Senior Send-Off for food and fun to kick off the graduation festivities, and connect with alumni and fellow graduates about your GW experience. Discover ways you can stay connected to GW, regardless of where you will live.
